Event Features

Daily Region Rotations

Each day features a different region: Monday (Kanto), Tuesday (Johto), Wednesday (Hoenn), Thursday (Sinnoh), and Friday (Unova), with themed wild spawns, raids, and research.

Costumed Pikachu Debuts

Four new costumed Pikachu debut: Red's Hat Pikachu, Leaf's Hat Pikachu, Ethan's Hat Pikachu, and Lyra's Hat Pikachu — all with shiny variants available.

Special Backgrounds

Raid encounters each day grant collectible Special Backgrounds featuring region-specific designs. Costumed Pikachu from Field and Timed Research do not receive Special Backgrounds.

Featured Attacks

Legendary raid bosses know exclusive moves: Articuno (Hurricane), Zapdos (Thunder Shock), Moltres (Sky Attack), Kyogre (Origin Pulse), Groudon (Precipice Blades), Origin Dialga (Roar of Time), Origin Palkia (Spacial Rend), Reshiram (Fusion Flare), Zekrom (Fusion Bolt), and Kyurem (Glaciate).

Alternating Hourly Raids (Thursday & Friday)

On Thursday (Sinnoh) and Friday (Unova), raid bosses alternate on an hourly basis. Raid Hour from 6-7 PM features all bosses rotating every 30 minutes.

Kyurem Fusion Energy

Black Kyurem and White Kyurem raids drop Fusion Energy used for forme-changing Kyurem. Fused Kyurem variants earn unique Special Backgrounds.

Event Bonuses (12 AM-11 PM)

1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in Incubators during the event

Remote Raid Pass limit increased to 30 (Feb 23-27); unlimited (Feb 28-Mar 1)

Zygarde Cells appear at end of up to 5 Routes daily

Shadow Pokemon can forget Frustration with a Charged TM

Increased 2 km Egg drops from PokeStops and Gyms

Ticket holders earn 6 points per Mega Evolution toward Mega Level increases
