During the Road of Legends (July 6–10), Trainers can gear up for GO Fest weekend with powerful legendary raid encounters every day, event bonuses, and GO Pass rewards. Featured legendaries rotate daily, with Raid Hours each evening and a special Primal Raid Hour on Friday.

Event Features
New Pokémon Backgrounds Debut!
After catching Pokémon from Raid Battles during Road of Legends and through GO Fest 2026: Global (July 6–12), Trainers may receive Special Backgrounds on their Pokémon's summary page. Pokémon caught from 5-star, Primal, and Mega Raid Battles between July 6–12 may also have a Special Background. Mewtwo caught from Super Mega Raids during GO Fest: Global may have a Special Background — and if Mega Evolved, its Mega Evolution will show an additional visual effect.
Super Mega Raids During Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global
Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y will be featured in Super Mega Raids during Pokémon GO Fest: Global! Every Mewtwo caught from Super Mega Raids will have at least one Mega Level already unlocked and can be Mega Evolved without the initial energy cost. These Mewtwos will also be more likely to have high Attack, Defense, and HP.
GO Pass: Road of Legends
From July 6, 12:01 a.m. to July 12, 11:59 p.m. local time, the GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe for Road of Legends are available. Rank up to earn: Pikachu (team hat) encounters, Legendary raid Candy, GO Fest Tee avatar item, Link Charges, Incubators, Incense, and a Lucky Trinket at Rank 100. GO Pass Deluxe also unlocks: Team Leader Pose, a Gold Bottle Cap, Mewtwo with Special Background (Rank 100), Candy XL, 2× Hatch Stardust, 2× Hatch Candy, +5,000 XP from raids, +3 Candy and +1 Candy XL from 5-star+ raids, and ½ Egg Hatch Distance.
Featured Attacks
Kyurem encountered from raids on July 6 may know Glaciate. Origin Forme Palkia encountered on July 10 may know Spacial Rend (Adventure Effect), and Origin Forme Dialga may know Roar of Time (Adventure Effect). Elite TMs can be used to teach Spacial Rend or Roar of Time during Road of Legends through GO Fest 2026: Global.
