Shinies Available!Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global is a worldwide celebration on July 11-12, 2026 (10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. local each day) and is free for all Trainers who log in during the weekend. Highlights include the debut of Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y in Super Mega Raids, a Zeraora Special Research story, branching Timed Research, six rotating hourly habitats, and a massive raid lineup of Legendary and Ultra Beast Pokémon.

Free for all Trainers
For the first time, GO Fest: Global is free for everyone who logs in during the event weekend, including the featured Special Research, event bonuses, and increased Shiny encounter opportunities.
Mega Mewtwo X & Y debut
Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y debut in Super Mega Raids. Defeat them to earn Mewtwo Mega Energy X/Y; Mewtwo caught from Super Mega Battles has Mega Levels already unlocked.
Zeraora Special Research
Log in during the weekend to receive Special Research leading to an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Zeraora (Zeraora Candy if already encountered at an in-person GO Fest).
Branching Timed Research
A branching Timed Research experience lets you choose between Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y.
Hourly habitat rotations
Saturday: Stormfire Peaks (Ice/Electric/Fire), Astral Tides (Psychic/Ghost/Water), Dragonflight Summit (Flying/Rock/Dragon). Sunday: Earthforged Domain (Ground/Steel/Normal), Verdant Anomaly (Poison/Bug/Grass), Twilight Battlefield (Dark/Fairy/Fighting). Wild spawns and raids rotate hourly to match each habitat.
